I have read that sexual energy is actually Universal Energy when it enters our body. It is only through the pollution of our minds that it appears different. In my own experience, I have found this to be true.
At some point, one feels the need or desire to learn how to transmute it. For this, the motivation must be the right one. I have learned how to do this, and what surprised me most was being able to help a friend who found himself in trouble while attempting it. It just so happened that I had the right experience and knowledge to help.
The Importance of Guidance
I was once warned that one must learn this from a master or teacher—in my case, I was directed toward a Qi Gong master, though I never went. They told me this because, without proper understanding, the energy can be too much for the heart to bear.
For me, the path was different; I used the culmination of my knowledge on how to work with the Universal Energy. I was able to apply this knowledge when my friend asked for help.
A Shamanic Healing
The topic arose because my friend had not had a partner for a while, and with spring arriving, the energies were going wild. He was suffering; he had found a way to transform or transmute the energy, but was not able to receive it safely into his system. The result was enormous physical pressure on the heart area and beyond.
As he shared what was happening in that moment, I put my hand on his shoulder. I guided him energetically to absorb and dissolve the energy safely. He thanked me greatly for the relief. He is a fellow shaman; we journey and drum together regularly, and he has helped me with my own healing before as well.
When we align our intent and use our knowledge of the Universal, we can move through these powerful shifts with safety and grace.
