On Rituals – part 2

By using mantras, yantras, and other tools, we perform specific actions to address and align ourselves with the correct cosmic forces and energy sources, ensuring a favorable result. As a practitioner, I have undergone purification processes and under guidance performed varius spiritual practices to unlock the specific energies required for ritual actions to carry weight and power.

Here I am sharing the following meditation, which I learned from the Wild Geese energy group, to illustrate this point. It is called the “Tune In” meditation, and it connects us to the rest of the universe. The technique is simple: you place half of your attention inside your body and the other half on the outside. The destination of your attention is direction itself, through attention bringing the “inside” and “outside” together. Another way of looking at it is: you look toward the universe, and the universe looks back at you. As you become more aware of the universe, the universe becomes more aware of you.

Thy Will Be Done: The concept of “Thy will be done” can be understood through two realizations: Acknowledging one’s own limitations while recognizing the limitlessness of a higher power (cosmic force/intelligence). Understanding that the cosmos sees us as part of itself and therefore desires our well-being. It seeks to bring us into harmony with itself, placing us in the best possible position. It cares for us in subtle ways beyond our perception; after all, we are tuning into the “beyond.”

While the above is a simple “open door,” the rituals themselves are ancient knowledge, kept secret to preserve and protect. I believe these practices were grounded by divine means through holy men who possessed a profound and deep connection with the universe, the divine, or the “higher power”.
