The Universal Energy is the basic energy from which everything is made. It is also one of the highest energies there is; actually, hearing from a realized master years back, there is only one energy. This is ultimately true, as all the relative energies are within it.
Through connecting to it and working with it—ultimately allowing it to work through me, to heal through me—I bring about change that will do you and those around you good. One learns to surrender to it more and more. The more one works with it, and the more one trusts it, the more open one is to the Universal Energy, and the better it can do what it wants to do.
What does the Universal Energy want to do?
Well, we are part of the universe, not separate from it, so it naturally wants us to be well. It wants us to be in harmony with itself and ourselves. It wants you to be healthy, to feel good in your body, and to experience the delight of being alive here in this body as part of the expressive universe and beyond.
It is the expressive universe itself.
One can work in different ways with it. Reiki is one way; there are others. I found four ways, and one can cross-use techniques and principles. Knowing different ways somehow deepens one’s openness to work more with it.
Here is what I found:
- We are all friends in the Universal. Because as part of the Universal we are one with it, if we place ourselves in resonance with it or get in contact with it within ourselves, the Universe can take care of us and then we don’t need to be scared anymore. It will guide us through. When one is in the Universal (in harmony with the universe or resonance), one experiences no enmity—or if it would come up, it would be washed away quickly, because there is only Amity (it’s the natural state). To know that in my being without a doubt, I went through a lot of purification.
On Reiki:
- I have also found that there are different ways of working with it.
- A healer can bring a specific area or trauma into the perspective of the Universal Energy so that that particular trouble would be brought up to light in front of the Universal Energy. That is enough for the energy to start working its magic. No interference, no assertion of one’s will—just holding space for the healing to happen. And it deepens as well.
- One is fully open, acting only as an unconditional channel, not engaging with anything (being patient with what is).
As For Enlightenment:
Reiki helps to prepare the ground for it. Nobody knows how it happens or when it happens, but the energy helps to prepare the ground for it. It sets you right, makes you beautiful and ready, and then… well, the spark comes from the “other side,” they say.
I find that what the session might depend on is the purity of intent and the ripeness of the practitioner, as well as their understanding of how the energy works (this comes through extensive practice and/or study of other ways of working with the Universal Energy). It also depends on the willingness of the patient to change—becoming healthy from the cause of whatever troubles you. When one is really ready for change, to surrender to the higher, then conditions for big change are there. Sincerity is important.
